Toho 30cm Series Bagan

Bagan joins the Toho 30cm Series!
 
Bagan first appeared as the final boss in the 1993 Super Nintendo game "Super Godzilla," then shortly after appeared in the CD-ROM Godzilla Movie Studio Tour released in 1996 in the Poster Creation Corner.
 
He has long been referred to as a "phantom monster" since there were plans for him to appear in new films before his debut but never made it to the silver screen until 2022, where he finally made his live-action debut in the Blue-ray/DVD edition of Godziban.
 
In preparation for his appearance in Godziban, a massive filming puppet was created, following the design of past Bagan incarnations. This led to a dramatic and powerful battle in Mothra vs. Bagan: Prologue, showcasing Bagan's impressive presence.
 
The distinctive head, large, spread wings, and the muscle-like detailing of various parts have been masterfully recreated by Hideyuki Kobayashi from Atelier Koganemushi, who also served as the director for Godziban and handled the design of the filming puppet.
